Born in Athens in 1991, Evangelia Koupenou, competing with the Hellenic Riding Club, has earned important distinctions in Greece and abroad. Among other awards, in 2016 she came first and second in the Balkan Games for Adults, in team and individual events, respectively. The following year she was runner up in the Balkan Games, in the Adult Team, and in 2018 she came first.
