Agia Triada Square, in front of the church of the Holy Trinity (Gr. Agia Triada), is in the locality Karvela of Terpsithea, in Ano Glyfada. The Non-profit Civil Company AEGEAS undertook to fund the planning and implementation of the transformation of an undeveloped area in front of the church into a square and its functional unification with the church forecourt. The project involved enlargement of the space, laying out terraces, walkways and paths, rest areas and parking spaces. The creation of a pond and the planting of vegetation based on the ecosystem of Hymettos have given the square an idyllic aspect. When works were completed, the public received a lovely space 6,000 sq. m in area, attuned to contemporary aesthetics, an ideal venue for strolling, relaxing and playing, a meeting place for all residents of the municipality and a reference point for the area. As part of the same project, the Non-profit Civil Company AEGEAS commissioned the sculptor Nikos Georgiou to carve the marble portrait statue of the national martyr Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Smyrna, which was set up next to the church in the upper part of the square.
