Non-Profit Civil Company AEGEAS

The Non-profit Civil Company for Culture and Welfare AEGEAS was set up in 2015 by Athanassios and Marina Martinos, to organize officially their already exceptionally rich social work at personal level.

The action of the Non-profit Civil Company for Culture and Welfare AEGEAS is developed mainly along the following axes:

• Infrastructure works in Health, by modernizing and renovating health centres and public hospitals
• Enhancement and protection of the Greek Cultural Heritage, by sponsoring the restoration and rehabilitation of monuments, and supporting archaeological excavations
• Preserving the Religious Heritage, with works for the conservation and construction of holy churches and monasteries
• Reinforcing ‘lifelong’ learning, by supporting with donations the operation of museums, libraries and other cultural agencies or contributing actively to creating new ones
• Publishing activity with the aim of diffusing knowledge
• Funding scientific research
• Social and charitable projects, by funding actions to improve the quality of life
• Donations to public agencies and Legal Entities in Public Law, aimed at strengthening Security, Protection of citizens and National Defence.
